Christopher Chan has been a strong advocate for cultural harmony and inclusive political involvement. He was a constituency assistant to the constituency of Richmond Centre, and served as the chair of the Richmond Inter-cultural Advisory Committee, and the Transportation Committee of the Richmond Seniors Network.

Christopher has been a resident of Richmond for almost a decade, with his wife and two children.

Christopher would like to see a local government that is a better representation of the most diverse community in Canada, especially more involvement amongst the younger generations. He would also like to see the City look for more ways to reach out to Richmond residents who are isolated, and encourage them to utilize and provide input to the many services that the city provides.
