Dan BaxterDan Baxter is passionate about community service and civic participation. For over 15 years, Dan has been a volunteer member of various boards. He served as a Director, Vice President and President of several provincial and federal riding and youth associations. He is currently a member of the Richmond-Steveston BC Liberal Board and the Steveston-Richmond East Conservative Board. He also serves on the Britannia Heritage Shipyard Society Board.

Dan is a policy and research analyst with the BC Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit business association. Prior to joining the BC Chamber, Dan spent three years with the federal government, two of those years in Ottawa.

Dan has lived in Richmond for four years and resides in the Steveston area. He and his wife, Verena, have two sons, Elijah and Jacob, both born in Richmond. As a new father who has chosen to raise his family in Richmond, Dan wants to see the City of Richmond continue to succeed by providing a fresh voice on local issues. His priority is to increase our connection to local government through increased voter participation. This is what has drawn Dan to the Richmond Community Coalition.
