Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for membership in the Richmond Community Coalition Association, you must:

  • be at least fourteen (14) years of age;
  • ordinarily reside in the Province of British Columbia;
  • be a Canadian citizen or under landed-immigrant status;
  • support the purposes of the Association;
  • not be a member of any other political party, society or association which has as one of its purposes to support the election of candidates to the offices of the local government or school trustees in the City of Richmond; and
  • not have publicly declared an intention to be a candidate for election to the local government or school trustees in the City of Richmond other than as a candidate for the Association.

 

Membership Dues

Membership is valid for 5 years from the date of application.

Youth (14 to 25)            $5.00 
Adult (26 to 64) $10.00
Seniors (65+) $5.00

Terms & Conditions

  1. The applicant must provide the Association with the address of the applicant’s permanent residence, and any additional information, including but not limited to proof of such residence, if requested by the Directors.
  2. Every member must uphold the Association’s Constitution and comply with its bylaws.
  3. Each member must personally pay their own membership dues, except in the instance where multiple applicants who have applied for membership reside at the same place of residence, in which case one of the said applicants can make payment on behalf of all such applicants.
  4. The membership of the applicant shall be deemed to commence on the date the application form was first received by the Association.
