Wayne DuzitaWayne Duzita is a graduate of the University of British Columbia. He has worked in various fields of marketing and business development over the past 45 years. Wayne is currently a special advisor and Associate Vice President, Western Region to Aeroterm, specializing in the construction, ownership and management of on-airport facilities in North America. His background also includes positions with Tourism Vancouver, Eaton’s, Canada Safeway, Pacific National Exhibition, International Aviation Terminals, AMB Corporation and Huntingdon Capital Corporation.

Wayne has lived in Richmond since 1970, is married with two adult children who also live and work in Richmond. Wayne is a strong community participant and currently serves on the Olympic Oval Corporation Board, 2010 Games Operating Trust, Vice-Chair Tourism Richmond, Co-Founder YVR for kids, Co-Chair Trinity Western University Advisory Council, Director Richmond Center Liberty Riding Association, Founding member e-Rotary of Lulu Island, Chair of the Richmond Christmas Fund and member of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. Wayne has received the Star of Richmond, Queens Diamond Jubilee Metal and the BC Community Achievement Award for his service over many years. Wayne is also the past chair of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and one of the founding sponsors.

Wayne is concerned about the continuing drop in voter turnout for all levels of public service and believes that through the Richmond Community Coalition Association he can help service and challenge others to engage, participate and take ownership for the future of our great city and province.
